Marziart Internationale Galerie
Hamburg, ,
DE Germany
Marziart Internationale Galerie in Hamburg presents works by Joseph Gerges (Egypt ), Marjan Kindersley (Germany), Geert Vanderplancke (Belgium), Patrick Gysemberg (Belgium) and Irene Balter (Germany). Marziart Internationale Galerie's intention is to offer a space, where international artists can present and sell their works to the German public.
The Galerie is a meeting place for artists, to establish international contacts and connections to the art-scene of Hamburg. Marion Zimmermann, Owner/Director, is also an artist with links to galleries and art groups. In accordance with a claim of quality, artists are selected for a yearly schedule, every month one group show is presented with 4 painters or photographers and 1 sculptor. During three days of the week art workshops take place in the galerie, guarenteeing visitors to the gallery.
Patrick Gysemberg has been presuing a program, called "Man bites Dog", which is broadcasted on Belgian Television. Patrick Gysemberg attempts with his remarkable action paintings to create a piece in one-minute.
"It is clear that the general Belgian or even Flemish public isn't really ready for this kind of provocative art, but still they were curious enough, to let me return three times" Patrick Gysemberg stated, obviously pleased with this result. "I could not expect more of a general public, because not every one is interested in the Arts, anyhow, just look at the visitors to an art museum, compared to the total inhabitants of a country and you'll find out how fond they are about art in general." he added.
