"Passages, Trust and Surrender: Works by 21 Female Artists"
2004-07-28 until 2004-08-21
High Road Gallery
Worthington, OH, USA United States of America

The High Road Gallery in Worthington, Ohio is mounting a special collaborative exhibit by 21 women artists called "Passages, Trust and Surrender" from July 28 to August 21. Organized by Renee Kropat of Gallery 202, Partners in Art, Inc., the exhibit will include works that have been passed from artist to artist, each altering the work in her own style, over a period of two years.

The premise is that we, as artists, can surrender our art to someone else and trust that they will take care of it and add to its beauty.

This is Passages first exhibition which will be part of a series. For the past 4 years, Gallery 202 has promoted and developed programs and exhibits aimed specifically at women artists, novice and professional. The objective is to provide an opportunity for growth in artistic, business and personal areas in a cooperative and at times, a protective environment regardless of abilities or experience. Entry fees and sponsorships provide administrative coverage for this program.
