"Call for Artists: International Art Competition - NAFA 2004"

Fine Arts Painters and Sculptors are invited to participate of the International Art Competition - 2004, organized by National Academy of Fine Arts, Brasil - an international non-profit cultural institution.Works will be accepted as entries in the academic or modern category of original art works: sculpture, oil on canvas, acrylic or watercolour. The subject choice is free, except copies, nudes, eletronic art or works generated by computer. Each artist may submit an unlimited number of works, for paintings sending a photograph (format 8x10 inches or A4 format , aprox.20x27cm). For sculptures 2 photos of different sides of each sculpture must be submitted. Entry fees are US$ 5.00 (if Nafa member) for each work submitted. Non members will pay US$ 10.00 for each submited work.

Selection and Awards : All Artists will receive a diploma , featuring at our web site during 1 year. The best paintings will also receive: Gold , Silver and Bronze Medals + Art Brushes Kits (Condor) and honorable mentions. During 1 year NAFA is authorized by all selected artists in this competition, without additional costs to both parts , to make public their names and the winners works at the web site www.anap.art.br (during 1 year) and in publicity in newspapers and art magazines. The awarded photos will be exhibited in VIENNA, AUSTRIA in 2005 and NAFA (only the photos will be exhibited ). Artists from more than 20 countries have already participated during the last competition.
