The ArtROM Gallery Red Abstraction 2004 online exhibition is a result of an online juried competition of works by artists from around the world. ArtROM offers several juried exhibition opportunities each year. Twenty artists' works with a red color pallette express their individual abstaction style in paints, drawings photography and sculpture. Artists included in the exhibition are Alberto Magrin, Dorata Walentynowicz, Troy Paiva, Clay Bodvin, Liana Brittan, Janey Fritsche, Hendrik Baartman, Victoria Aust, Kallerroy Tringas, Nikolay Pavlushko, Kirstin Bruner, Izabella Pavlushko, Gustavo Moller, David Ritland, Zal Richards, Carol Pfeffer, Gertrud Parker, Joe Manganelli, Denis Murell, Richard Cunnimgham and Luk Wets.      

Clay Bodvin's finalist work (above) offers insight into one aspect of the creative vision he is developing and is a departure from the stylised still life compositions seen previously. Of his work Bodvin says "...one of my goals is to create works that also suggest objects or spaces without being definitive in their representation."

This online exhibition, Red Abstraction at ARTROM Gallery, opened on October 1 and runs through October 30. It will then be archived on the ARTROM website for one year. ARTROM Gallery, based in Rome, runs a continuing cycle of online juried/themed competitions open to international artists.

Other recognised work by the artist is in the concurrent exhibition Intensity 2004; and in the archived exhibition Digitally 2004.

Bodvin has also just been awarded ARTROM GALLERY GUILD (AGG) membership status. This invitation-only opportunity was based upon a reviewed submission/application.

The AGG, an International Society of Artists and Designers, was recently founded to showcase and promote outstanding artists and designers through the strong on-line presence of ARTROM Gallery worldwide.
