"Call for Artists: 2005 Exhibition Schedule"
2004-11-15 until 2004-12-15
gallery twenty-four
Berlin, , DE Germany

GALLERY twenty-four, Berlin's premier gallery for autodidactic and undiscovered artists from around the world, is pleased to offer its 2005 "Call for Artists". The 2005 exhibition schedule, our forth in Berlin, is open to artists working in any genre. Primary consideration for exhibition proposals will be, as always, given to autodidactic artists, with secondary preference to non-autodidactic, who proclaim themselves to be "undiscovered".

In order to expand our exhibition program to provide the Berlin art community with a well rounded line-up of talent, we are also providing, as part of our schedule, four exhibition periods devoted to "self-curated" shows for individuals or groups, who wish to assemble and exhibit artists from any of the following categories:

video installation
photography
digital art
mixed media
sculpture
collage
regional specific art

Additionally, GALLERY twenty-four has made available in its new space 6 artist studios for selected artists interested in completing an art project in Berlin. Artists interested in this service should complete the same procedures for acquiring an exhibition. Furthermore, beginning with the 2005 exhibition schedule the gallery will also be able to provide, for an additional fee, accommodations* for non-Berlin artists, who wish to be present for any part of their exhibition period. (*these facilities are subject to availability and certain restrictions apply)

Furthermore, GALLERY twenty-four is in the process of obtaining exhibition space in both London and Paris and is hoping to begin offering exhibitions in these two cities by 2nd quarter 2005. Artists wishing to book exhibitions in London or Paris may have their names placed on a separate waiting list for further information as soon as it becomes available. A pre-requisite to obtaining an exhibition in either London or Paris will be that the artist must have first exhibited his / her work in the Berlin gallery.  GALLERY twenty-four / Berlin shall serve as the administrative headquarters for both GALLERY twenty-four / Paris and GALLERY twenty-four / London.

Details about the proposal process, as well as a general overview of GALLERY twenty-four's mission and concept, can be found in the information section of our website: click here.

We ask that you read through all the provided information found on our website, before submitting your requests for additional information or exhibition proposals. By doing so will streamline the application process and reduce the amount of unnecessary correspondence so we can devote our time to implementing and promoting the gallery‚s many events.

Should you require any additional information or have specific questions after reading through the information on our website, please feel free to contact us directly at info@oder24.com

We look forward to receiving all of your proposals for exhibitions and wish to thank each of you for your continued support of GALLERY twenty-four and its mission to assist autodidactic and undiscovered artists. DEADLINE: December 15, 2004
