Wayne Quilliam's latest exhibition titled 'Shades of Black' will open at the Kluge-Ruhe Gallery in Charlottesville, Virginia, December 1 2004 and continue through to January 29 2005. The work will return to Australia before being showcased at one of Europe's most prestigious art shows in August. Those familiar with Quilliam's work will appreciate how important the next series of images are in relating to the positive promotion of the aborginial people and culture.
On the international scene Wayne Quilliam has participated the successful auction of his photographs at both Sotherby's and Lawson Menzies Auction Houses which saw the prints brought by collectors in France, Germany and Australia.
While in the US Wayne will deliver a series of lectures at the University of Virginia and at a variety of Art, Community and Photographic groups before travelling to New York to shoot for 'Archtype' Magazine. After New York Wayne will continue onto Los Angles to work with some of America's leading artists.
