“There is a feeling I get when I am in Italy as if I am teetering between two worlds- the ancient history and the modern life. “The Italy Series” captures fragments of a culture where the landscape is informed by an immense and haunting absence. These fleeting moments narrate a part of the culture under the spell of another world.” -Artist Statement
