"Call to Artists: Arts Olympiad for Young Artists"
2004-12-31 until 2005-06-01
International Child Art Foundation
Washington, DC, USA United States of America

The International Child Art Foundation (ICAF) invites you to participate in its Third Arts Olympiad (2004-2008). The Arts Olympiad combines the empathy invoked and sustained by art with the team spirit instilled and fostered by sport in order to promote creativity, health and Olympic ideals. The worlds largest and most prestigious arts initiative for children aged 8 to 12, the Arts Olympiad commences with free lesson plans that lead to art competitions and culminates in a World Festival on the National Mall in Washington DC in 2007.

The Arts Olympiad Lesson Plans can be downloaded from http://olympiad.icaf.org

To subscribe to ChildArt, a unique arts learning and global education periodical, please visit www.icaf.org.

See The Artists Magazine (Dec 04), SchoolArts magazine (Nov 04), and Arts & Activities magazine (Sept 04) for article on the Arts Olympiad.

ICAFs Educational Partners include Americans for the Arts, the National Art Education Association, the Congressional Arts Caucus and UNESCO.

Please email Marcy Hersh at childart@icaf.org if you have any questions.
