Constantine - Ikon Art Studio in the Bronx presents an exhibiton of works by Lucia Timis until the end of March. Lucia Timis is an artist with experience in Mural Art-all fresco, all secco, sgraffito, mosaic -oil painting, restauration, photographic art. Born in Romania, Transilvania, she studied Mural Art at the Academy  of Fine Arts "I.Andreescu" Cluj, Romania and received a MFA in 1978. Timis was Curator and Art Restaurator at National Museum of Art, Bucharest, Romania and Professor at Art School.

Currently Lucia Timis lives in New York. She has created three Mural Artworks-one Sgraffito 10'x12' at Accounting Center Cluj, one Mural Painting-egg tempera 10'x20' at a High School Cafeteria Cluj, and a Mural Painting-Caseine 10'x20' at a High School class in Cluj, Romania.  

    Lucia Timis' artworks are in Museums and private collections in Romania, France, Germany, USA. Timis' paintings are the specific product of an unique creative activity, which has found her own expressive way of communication. Her style is a mixture of figurative, abstract and symbolic elements, combining reality and spirituality.
