"Size Matters: Exploring Scale in the Arts Council Collection"
2005-03-19 until 2005-06-05
Yorkshire Sculpture Park / Longside Gallery
Wakefield, , UK United Kingdom

This new National Touring Exhibition from the Hayward Gallery examines the transformative power of scale in recent British art. Bringing together over thirty works from the Arts Council Collection, including chairs of dollhouse proportions and an air freshener standing over two metres tall, Size Matters makes us feel tiny and gigantic in turns, thus prompting us to reconsider our position in the word.

Artists represented in the exhibition: Eric Bainbridge, Jordan Baseman, Sara Bradbury, Martin Creed, Alan Currall, Rose Finn-Kelcey, Leo Fitzmaurice, Laura Ford, Mark Francis, Pamela Golden, Andrew Grassie, Steve Johnson, Michael Landy, Abigail Lane, Paul Eienne Lincoln, Mariele Neudecker, Cornelia Parker, Richard Patterson, Gary Perkins, Kathy Prendergast, James Rielly, Helen Robertson, Dieter Roth, Gary Rough, Emma Rushton, Hiraki Sawa, Hilary Wilson, Hermione Wiltshire, Elizabeth Wright.
