Work by Michele Spence McGarry will be featured in an EMERGING ARTISTS exhibition in The Atrium Gallery at the Backstage Theatre in County Longford, Ireland, beginning next Thursday, 12th of May, through June 3rd. Spence McGarry s work has been shown mainly in Ireland, but is collected by individuals in the US, France and Ireland.
Michele Spence McGarry states, I am not really an intellectual artist with a grand statement or goal. I just love color and capturing a feeling. I continually try to grasp these, and that is work enough for me
Backstage Theatre was established in 1995 to nurture, enrich, present and develop the artistic and cultural expression and appreciation of the people of Longford. The purpose built theatre comprises a 212 seater auditorium and Atrium Gallery.
Backstage Theatre continues to provide a multi-discipline programme of events that attracts, maintains and develops the audience within our catchments area. Our programme demonstrates this fact with a diverse and comprehensive series of events encompassing a broad range of disciplines such as drama, dance, classical music and opera.
