"Call for Artists: 25th Annual Juried Fine Art Competition"

The Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art is currently accepting entries for its 25th annual juried fine art competition, A Sense of Place 2005. Open to all U.S. artists ages 18 and older working in the following media: drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media. $25 entry fee covers submission of slides of up to five works.

Cash awards available. Juror: Carmon Colangelo, Director, Lamar Dodd School of Art, University of Georgia. Entries must be postmarked by July 8, 2005; exhibition runs September 16-October 21, 2005.
