Presented by Coldcreation, 20 Giocondas is Jordi Mollà’s first one-man gallery show in Spain. The works are shown in two spaces: one with 20 recent drawings and the other with an audio-visual installation. Both are oriented to show to the versatility of the artist in thematic treatment and the fluidity of dialogue created between the different disciplines.  

20 Giocondas is about that which it is not, but that which could be. It is a fight against the accepted, the so-called religious Art. Faith, understood by few and insinuated by millions of men who create and believe without knowing the dogma: Ignorance, the only safe-conduct to the creativity: Scholastic education, for the doomed future of the student who never grew or assimilated that there was only uncertainty.  

20 Giocondas supports the ambiguity between what is art and what is not, the non-approval, the psychic suicide of an artist, and the lack of understanding in front of a world governed by natural laws that can also be the principle of a great work.  

The aim is common sense. The aim is a coherent dialogue, even if flooded with coherence of incoherence.
