"Call for Artists: Fall Workshop - Photographing Season’s Change"
2005-08-05 until 2005-09-25
New Mexico Photography Field School
Santa Fe, NM, USA United States of America

The New Mexico Photography Field School, New Mexico’s Premier Photography Workshops, is pleased to announce a fall workshop: Photographing Season’s Change from September 25 - October 1, 2005. Come and photograph the splendor of autumn in the desert high country. This workshop is both a celebration and a challenge – to see the magic and beauty of the Land of Enchantment and to make your own images of this land: from the details of the adobe ruins to the weathered faces of cowboys to the magnificent landscapes.

Since 1986, the New Mexico Photography Field School is unique in its offerings: hands-on photography workshops in the Southwest’s canyons, hills and villages. Participants out every day to capture the light, color, and texture that is the West. Workshops are for the novice to the experienced photographer, for anyone who wants to master photographic technique while exploring the enchanted land that is New Mexico.

Field School Director and Instructor Craig Varjabedian has been teaching photography for twenty-five years. His photographs are known for their interpretations of light and place in the Southwest. His works are widely exhibited and collected. Joining the Field School for 2005 is William Plunkett, landscape and nature photographer. The workshop program based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Field School is sponsored by Bogen Imaging, Lowepro, Photoflex, MAM-A, Phase One, Smark Disk, and Nik Mulimedia. Canon USA has made available EOS 10D cameras for students to try out. A catalogue with workshop descriptions, instructors’ bios, and Private Field and Darkroom workshop information is available upon request. Complete information is available at www.photofieldschool.com. For further information, contact Associate Director, Cindy Lane at info@photofieldschool.com or (505) 983-2934.
