For periods of 3 or 6 months residents are provided
with living accommodation, a studio and - during the
last month of their stay - a well-publicized solo
exhibition. During the residency Raid facilitates
residents to establish working professional links in
the flourishing LA art world and to bring curators,
critics and collectors to see the solo show privately.
AIR's resident artists are predominantly
international, but they also host US artists whose
projects are suitable to a LA residency. The residency
fee is $1400 per month. As this program has a proven
track record Raid can facilitate artist's funding
applications in their own countries, in tandem with
their counties LA-based consulate representatives.
