Undoubtedly the pinnacle competition for studio glass in Australia, this year the prize exhibition is hosted by Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre in both Gallery 1 and 2. Currently in its 11th year, the Ranamok Glass Prize annually showcases contemporary glass art created by practitioners from Australia and New Zealand. Ranamok is a celebration of excellence and visual energy in glass, presenting work of the highest quality, experimentation and creation. The artists and works represented display the range and diversity of the medium of glass, as well as the aesthetic ambitions and technical achievements of the artists involved. The 2005 Ranamok Glass Prize will delight, enthuse and engage all audiences from first visitors to serious collectors. 

Finalists include: Helen Aitken-Kuhnen, Christian Arnold, Nicole Ayliffe, Joanna Bone, Lee Brogan, Rozlyn de Bussey, Emma Camden, Scott Chaseling, Cobi Cockburn, Rod Coleman, Scott Coleman, Matthew Curtis, Tali Dalton, Evelyn Dunstan, Nicola Edwards, Mandy Eilbeck, Mark Eliott, Alexandra Elise Chambers, Ben Edols & Kathy Elliott, Judi Elliott, Kevin Gordon, Tevita Havea, David Hay, Robyn Irwin, Jessica Kelly, Miki Kubo, Tom Moore, Jane Morrisey, edison Osorio Zapata, Ron Reichs, Keith Rowe, Stephen Skillitzi, Jenny Smith, Daniela Turrin, Emma Varga, Yuri Yanai & Rob Wynne and Laurie Young.
