La Viande Gallery in London features fresh contemporary art including painting, illustration, photography and fine art. This month in Art in Mind Part 3 2005 artists exhibiting work will be The Tate Sisters, India Ritchie, Carlos Calvet, Jackie Clark, Emma Glibbery, Fester and Satoshi Matsuyama.

Satoshi Matsuyama was born in Kamiisityou, Hokkaido in 1958. Satoshi's first true love, MUSIC (jazz and gospel) developed in his early teens where he took up saxophone. After 11 years on the Tokyo club circuit he began to reassess his life goals and try something new. Working with handicapped persons he noticed how they yearned to express themselves. Satoshi too yearned for a new way to express himself after giving up his musical dreams. The DIGITAL world gave both his handicapped acquaintances and himself a new future.

Producing many fine local exhibitions, Satoshi made his BIG debut here at Heratland last year. In the last 6 months he has won the "Mac World Expo" award for digital art in San Francisco and other european awards in England and Italy. He has also produced 11 other overseas exhibitions in 4 countries.

Satoshi Matsuyama is a Premiere Portfolio Artist at absolutearts.com. View more of his work at www.absolutearts.com/portfolios/m/matsuyama/.
