Satoshi Matsuyama was born in Kamiisityou, Hokkaido in 1958.
Satoshi's first true love, MUSIC (jazz and gospel) developed in his early teens where he took up saxophone. After 11 years on the Tokyo club circuit he began to reassess his life goals and try something new. Working with handicapped persons he noticed how they yearned to express themselves. Satoshi too yearned for a new way to express himself after giving up his musical dreams. The DIGITAL world gave both his handicapped acquaintances and himself a new future.
Producing many fine local exhibitions, Satoshi made his BIG debut here at Heratland last year. In the last 6 months he has won the "Mac World Expo" award for digital art in
San Francisco and other european awards in England and Italy. He has also produced 11 other overseas exhibitions in 4 countries.
