"Mysteries & Visions," a solo show presenting 35 digital paintings by Bruce Price, runs Sept. 2-29 at the Heritage Center Gallery in Virginia Beach, Va. Price has been called "a visionary and a pioneer" for his innovative digital creations. The Heritage is Hampton Roads' largest center for holistic health, natural foods and spiritual growth. Price states, "I start with a blank screen and try to create new kinds of beauty that can be made only with digital tools. I call my genre 'digital painting' to suggest a continuum with oil painting, etc."
