"Call for Artists: 2006 Exhibition Proposals Being Accepted"

The Art Pavilion

Artists are currently being invited to submit proposals for the 2006/7 exhibiiton programme in The Art Pavilion by 21 November 2005. The Art Pavilion is a unique building located in the new linear park that stretches from north to south of Tower Hamlets. The curved structure is covered with grass and set beside a lake with a large internal space ideal for contemporary exhibitions.

The Art Pavilion Forum will select shows from all the submitted proposals in order to create a dynamic programme of exhibitions.

The Environment and Culture Department of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is delighted to be able to offer this exciting opportunity to artists. It is intended that the Art Pavilion will clearly demonstrate London’s diversity and be accessible to all.
