The Nancie Mattice Award for Emerging Artists 2006 is a juried competition sponsored by Dangenart Gallery. This first annual competition is devoted to discovery, introduction and promotion of international emerging artists and these artists are included in a group exhibition. The exhibition will be held at Dangenart Gallery.
This New York style gallery is located in the Art District of historic downtown Nashville, TN. Works selected are solely based on their merit and originality, NOT the artists' experiences and credentials. This event will be open to all artists working in any media. Awards include a $500 cash prize, exhibition and representation awards and promotion awards. Entry fee is $30 per 4 images, $5 for each additional. Go to http://www.dangenart.com/ for more details.
