Indepth Arts News: "Call for Artists: Planes, Trains and Automobiles - Transportation and Travel in Art" 2005-10-19 until 2006-01-09 Anchorage Museum of History and Art Anchorage, AK, USA United States of America
Anchorage Museum of History and Art seeking entries for juried exhibition "Planes, Trains & Automobiles: Transportation and Travel in Art," which will open in the Museum's Discovery Art Gallery for Families on June 18, 2006 and run through May 15, 2007. The exhibition is open to professional artists working in all media.
Send up to 10 slides or low-res digital images on a CD (clearly label slides and CD), a resume, and a detailed list and description of the images being submitted. Do not submit images of work that would not be available for the entire run of the exhibition unless you are proposing the creation of new work specifically for the exhibition, in which case supporting images would be appropriate to demonstrate the quality and style of your work (nor more than 5 images when used as support material). Entries must be postmarked by January 9, 2006. No e-mailed entries will be accepted. This is a juried exhibition open to artists inside and outside Alaska.
