In his youth Hans Alexander had five paintings hanging at the Louvre. Present art criticts gave their nod of appreciation before angered security people tore down four and half paintings the young artist had put up fifteen minutes earlier. Four and a half? "Yep, the last half hung in the men's room all day before the janitor threw it out."

This is a rare opportunity to see one of Sweden's most creative artist. Hans Alexander Gerlanius is one of the most innovative expressionists. Halfway through a life completely devoted to painting and creativity he has developed a personal, intimately self-revealing style. "I get my inspiration from explorative journeys in my inner self," the artist states.
