This work, which initiated as a tribute manifestation to one of her near loved ones, concludes with a unique and personal questioning for those personal objects of those who go away.
On the matter of his work the artist exposed: " 'Requiem for a Globetrotter' symbolizes the inheritance of my grandfather, the part of him that remains with me and that now transcends and turns into art as a form of tribute form towards him".

The city of Havana will held next October 21st of the present year the first presentation of the exhibition "Requiem for a globetrotter" of Mexican artist Laura Castanedo. The National Academy Gallery of Fine Arts "San Alejandro" of the Cuban capital will provide the space in which this exhibition will take place, which consists of several pieces of installation, enssembles and photography.
