Indepth Arts News: "View Point: 2005 National Juried Art Exhibition" 2005-11-04 until 2005-11-20 Cincinnati Art Club Cincinnati, OH, USA United States of America
This year’s exhibition juror is Thomas Trausch. Mr. Trausch has over 1300 original paintings on display in corporate and private collections including Parker Pen Company, Smith-Barney, Burlington Northern Railway, and Ms. Oprah Winfrey. He has exhibited nationally for the past two decades and has been a Transparent Watercolor Society of America Signature Member since 1984.
Awards total more than $5,000 and are sponsored by such organizations as Cincinnati Art Galleries, The Artist’s Magazine and North Light Book Club.
Mary Jane Erard will also be exhibiting in December 2005 at the Marziart Internationale Galerie in Hamburg Germany. She will be exhibiting with international artists from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Spain. Erard will also exhibit at Space 237’s annual Spring Exhibition in March – June 2006. Space 237 is located at 237 N. Michigan in downtown Toledo, Ohio.
Mary Jane Erard is a landscape artist working in pastel. Her paintings have won over 25 awards, including five Best of Show awards. Mary Jane is a juried member of the Pastel Society of America. She won a first award at this year’s Crosby Festival of the Arts, a national juried art fair in Ohio. Artist, Mary Jane Erard, of Toledo Ohio has been accepted to exhibit in the View Point 2005 National Juried Art Exhibition at the Cincinnati Art Club, Cincinnati, Ohio. The Cincinnati Art Club, the second oldest and most active nonprofit art organization in Cincinnati, hosts its Thirty-seventh National Juried Art Competition, View Point 2005, from November 4th through November 20th, at the Cincinnati Art Club. The Exhibition is comprised of selected works from 70 of the nations most accomplished artists.
