"Part Three of the 20th Anniversary Exhibition: The Triumph of Painting"
2005-11-04 until 2007-04-30
Saatchi Gallery
London, , UK United Kingdom

The Saatchi Gallery will present Part Three of its 20th anniversary exhibition The Triumph of Painting from November 4th 2005. Originally intended as a three part show to run through this year, the record attendance figures (360,000 + visitors for Parts One and Two) have prompted the Gallery to extend the exhibition to six parts to be shown through April 2007. Part Three will continue to showcase work by some of the most influential contemporary painters today, and will further explore how painting has re-emerged at the forefront of art in the last decade.

Artists to be exhibited in Part Three are DANA SCHUTZ and INKA ESSENHIGH, two of the leading young women artists working in America; MATTHIAS WEISCHER & EBERHARD HAVEKOST, two leaders of the new generation of emerging German painters; MICHAEL RAEDECKER, an artist present in the collection since studying at Goldsmiths in 1997 and DEXTER DALWOOD, a cult figure amongst young British artists, who has successfully debuted at the Gagosian gallery in America.

The exhibition will be on show at the Saatchi Gallery until February 5th 2006.

The supplementary Triumph of Painting: Part Three book accompanying the exhibition is published by Koenig Books and costs £16.50

The Saatchi Gallery opens daily from 10am-8pm and until 10pm on Fri & Sat www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk
