Smithtown Township Arts Council Seeks Entries For Re-Flowering the Garden: Women and Nature The Exhibition and Sale Celebrating Women's History Month will run March 4- March 25, 2006 at the Mills Pond House Gallery, St. James, NY 11780. Description: Re-Flowering the Garden seeks to present the works of artists who, taking the natural world as their subject, focus on the intersection of ecology and women's history. Artists may use materials taken from nature, use art to promote environmental issues, or interpret environmental problems and solutions through a variety of media including drawing, painting, and sculpture.

Entry fee: $30 for up to 5 entries, $20 for STAC members, up to 5 entries. Artists may become STAC members at time of entry. An entry-specific artist statement should be included with slides/jpegs. 35mm slide or 300 dpi jpeg on CD only.

Deadline for entries: January 13, 2006.
