Dinnerware is an independent non-profit gallery dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of Tucson. The organization do es this by exhibiting only the most innovative contemporary art. In existence for over two decades, Dinnerware is known as a cornerstone of the downtown art scene.
In the Tucson Downtown Art Scene, Dinnerware was the forebearer. Before downtown was revitalized the first time, before people began renovating old homes in the area, before Tucson knew what contemporary art was, Dinnerware began.
Dinnerware started in the downtown Dinnerware building in 1979. Today, the gallery with the same name has made many important strides for art in Tucson. Exhibiting cutting edge art for this many years, the gallery has been a home to artists both emerging and established. As a not-for-profit gallery, Dinnerware has freedom to exhibit artwork of all mediums, enabling the public to view art that is comparable in quality to that of any major city.

Dinnerware proudly presents strong contemporary art by young Tucson artists. View this introspecitve work in home (_____ ) home, an exhibition during the month of February, 2006. The exhibition will feature work by Gina Cestaro, Chris Dacre, Haejae Lee, Kerry Phillips, Kristin Skees, Shannon Smith. This group show explores ideas of home and domesticity featuring Photography, Mixed-Media, Painting, Installation and Performance Art.
