"Call for Artists: Sommerwende International Arts Festival"

GALLERY twenty-four in co-operation with ARTLINE:berlin, Treeman Global Events Management and Mimosa Extra micro-magazine is proud to announce its Call for Artists for the 2006 Sommerwende International Arts Festival. This year’s event, which will take place from June 7 to July 4, 2006, is open to all artists working in any medium, including, but not limited to, 2-D works, 3-D works, photography, installations, video, and performance art. 

The 4 week festival will take place in multiple venues throughout Berlin-Friedrichshain and will offer a wide range of cultural activities.  

As the main focus of the event will be the group exhibition of international artists. The program will be further enhanced through musical and theatrical performances, film previews and various presentations for international fashion designers.

Artists wishing to submit entries for jury selection can submit a maximum of 5 images in digital format by following the entry procedures found at the festival website: www.sommerwende.de. A €35.00 entry fee applies.

DEADLINE: April 15, 2006

Individuals or groups interested in submitting programming proposals are invited to do so.
