"My work is primarily concerned with the relationship between the unconscious and consciousness. Jungian dream psychology informs much of my work. I look for the symbols of everyday life that determine dreams in my unconscious and inform the visual experience of my conscious hours. This body of work presents a diary of thoughts which I have chosen to represent with visual images. The symbols of my everyday conscious life inform the dreams of my unconsciousness and vice-versa. This is a never ending cycle.

"I use drawing and mixed media to record my dreams and unconsciousness. These are then overlaid and digitally photographed so the resulting artwork is an amalgam of processes. The images overlap each other and begin to fade into one another in order to represent the relationship and the dialogue between unconscious and consciousness. Also there is a sense of displacement in the unconscious world, which is similar to my conscious feelings of being an Italian immigrant living in a foreign country."
