Indepth Arts News: "Call for Artists: Public Sculpture Competition" 2006-05-26 until 2006-05-31 Association for Visual Arts Cape Town, , ZA South Africa
The JK Gross Trust, Spier and the AVA are holding a public sculpture competition. The permanent site for the winning piece is the patio of the AVA Gallery in Church Street Mall, Cape Town.
The prize money is R30 000 to the winning artist. R70 000 is being made available for the execution and installation of the winning sculpture by the artist. (The AVA cannot be involved in the installation of the sculpture.)

Form A indicating your interest needs to be sent to AVA by 31 May 2006.
Final date for submission of maquettes is Friday 18 August 2006.
All submitted maquettes will be exhibited at AVA from 22 August to 1 September 2006.
