Indepth Arts News: "Call for Artists: Blink" 2006-05-29 until 2006-06-16 Gasworks Gallery London, , UK United Kingdom
This Summer Gasworks will present Blink - a showcase of animation works from some of the UK's most exciting and innovative artists. The participating artists in Blink will be selected from an open call for submissions. The selectors are:
Haluk Akakce (artist), Nav Haq (curator, Gasworks), Saskia Olde Wolbers (artist)
Submission information
Submissions are welcomed from all artists and practitioners working with animation currently based in the UK.
Deadline for submissions: Friday 16 June 2006
There is no submission fee.
Short-listed artists will be notified in early July.
The selectors will consider all animation works. The definition of 'animation' is left open to interpretation by artists.
