"Ancient Palaces: Works by 19 International Artists"
2006-06-02 until 2006-07-03
Palazzo Cesi, Camaver Kunsthaus
Acquasparta, , IT Italy

"Ancient Palaces" is the title of the program in which Camaver Kunsthaus includes the most prestigious exhibitions: the events doomed to leave a mark on the contemporary art history. Camaver decided to exhibit contemporary art in the most magnificent historical palaces where human history and art history merge. Within the program "Ancient Palaces" all the events are organized and managed by Camaver under the high sponsorship of the municipal authorities. Such events gather and immortalize the artists' messages in the future times.

During 2006 Camaver, the largest Italian International Gallery, is proud present selected artists in exclusive exhibitions in very special locations: some of the most important artistic and historical palaces in Italy.

This exhibition takes place during June in one of the most famous historical palaces: "Palazzo Cesi", in Acquasparta (Terni), Umbria. The Palace has been erected in 1650 and, after a great history, since recently belongs to the University of Perugia and to the Municipality of Acquasparta. It is located in the heart of the town just in front of the Major's office; only 25 km of highway from Terni and 50 km from Perugia but it is well connected also by bus, train and taxi. Inside the Palace the exposing surface is around 12000 square meters divided in several halls.

The event will be enriched by the public shows organized by the municipal authorities of the ancient Umbrian town: the famous costume medieval recalling, the medieval cuisine competition which involves all the visitors and a concert to play some seventeenth-century pieces recently found out.

The group exhibition has been inserted in the official publication of Regione Umbria among other important events. This is the third edition of the international artistic event and both last two editions have had a great success (many thousand visitors from all over the world appreciated the exhibition) Now we have been officially requested to produce a third and more and more attractive edition.

Among the 19 artists included in the exhibition is Luise Andersen. Four works from Andresen's "Mignon Series" will be exhibited. From Acquasparta the works will travel to Lecco for an exhibition at the Camaver Gallery in Lecco in September after which Luise Andersen's works will be featured in a solo exhibition in Paris in December.

"Guided through inner mind-intuition, mental imagery, I create the final of what I am consciously not aware of - that I want, need. With each completed painting eye of core gains a glimpse of my tomorrow." - Luise Andersen.

Luise Andersen has been a Premiere Portfolio Artist absolutearts.com since 2005. View her works at: http://www.absolutearts.com/portfolios/l/laselectart.
