"Noel de Guzman: Tactile Mind"
2006-06-14 until 2006-06-27
Karin Weber Gallery
SoHo, , HK Hong Kong

Karin Weber Gallery in Hong Kong during the month of June, 2006, presents Noel de Guzman's latest body of work in a show entitled "Tactile Mind", an exhibition comprising finger-painted abstract works in vibrant colours and heavy textured lines. De Guzman has expanded his palette to a much wider colour spectrum. His recent travels in Europe and the Pacific has inspired the use of brighter colours.

The symphony of vibrant blues, cheerful yellows and verdant greens - colours not previously seen in his works - now dominate most of his canvasses. His works are still rendered in his trademark finger-painted style of broad lines, but are now seen to have a more flowing and less structured form.

Graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, University of Philippines, Manila, De Guzman has lived in Hong Kong for the last 13 years. "Tactile Mind" is De Guzman's sixth solo exhibition.

Exhibition continues until 27th June 2006.
