2006-07-23 until 2006-08-06
Hicks Gallery
Wimbledon, , UK United Kingdom

Our Summer show features work by Britains foremost abstract painter Sandra Blow RA together with new paintings by June Frickleton, Terry Whybrow, Henrik Simonsen, David Beer and Claudio Missagia. Sandra Blow will show mainly screenprints although it is anticipated that there will some original work available. Now widely regarded as Britains leading anstract painter who recently celebrated her eightieth birthday with a show at Tate Modern. June Frickleton is showing with us for the first time and is an emerging talent. Scottish origin and now living in Brighton her work shows some influence of Rothko, who is one of her inspirations.

Terry Whybrow lives and works in St. Ives as does Sandra Blow. He has for many years been regarded by dealers and fellow artists as a great and unsung talent.

Henrik Simonsen has shown with us for several years steadily growing in popularity with recent successful shows.

Claudio Missagia is showing with us for the first time, as is David Beer, again a St. Ives painter. Both exceptional artists from a gallery known for for the quality of its exhibitions.
