"Gerard Di Falco: VISIONS X - Kentucky's Most Prominent Spiritual Art Exhibition"

International artist, Gerard Di Falco, was accepted to show his work in the exhibition "VISIONS X" - he also exhibited in last year's VISIONS IX. This is an international exhibition of spiritual art of all genres that celebrates the Sacred and Holy. This exhibit will run from September 22, 2006, through October 22, 2006. The exhibition will be located in The Cathedral Art Gallery, located in the rectory at 1140 Madison Avenue, directly adjacent to the Cathedral at the corner of Twelfth Street and Madison Avenue, in Covington, Kentucky, which is directly across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, Ohio. A catalog will be published for this exhibit.

The one piece selected by exhibit jurors by Di Falco is from his "STATIONS OF THE CROSS - SERIES NUMBER ONE, 2006". The fourth station from this series, "Jesus Meets His Mother", is a mixed media assemblage work; its media include: the rib bones of a doe; digital photography; computer circuit board; acrylic paint, polymers and gels; metallic thread; and, gold leaf. Each station in this series measures twenty inches high (51 cm) by ten inches wide (25.4 cm). Work was completed in 2006 and can be viewed on the artist's website at www.absolutearts.com/portfolios/g/gerarddifalco.
