Indepth Arts News: "Call for Proposals: 38th Annual Conference - Forming Frontiers" 2006-10-30 until 2006-12-01 Glass Art Society Seattle, WA, USA United States of America
Two hundred years ago, explorers set out to define the boundaries of this
land to gain a greater understanding of where their futures might find them.
Inspired by the pioneering past of the Pacific Northwest, "Forming
Frontiers" not only addresses the distance the glass art world has come, but
also the necessary and continuing expansion into new directions and unknown
areas. The Glass Art Society Board of Directors is requesting proposals for
lectures, demonstrations and panels for the Portland, Oregon conference that
incorporate the theme, "Forming Frontiers". Proposals are due December 1,
2006.
TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL
1. Fill out the presentation proposal form found on our website at:
http://www.glassart.org/portland.html
2. Send the completed form and support materials no later than
December 1, 2006 to the Glass Art Society, 3131 Western Ave., Ste. 414,
Seattle, WA 98121, USA.
If you wish to use the form for simply suggesting ideas for topics or
presenters you'd like to hear, or subjects you think should be addressed,
please feel free to do so.
