"Call for Aritsts and Young Scholars: Research Scholarship in the Economics of Contemporary Art"

The Giovanni Agnelli Research Scholarship in the Economics of Contemporary Art is awarded since 2004 in memory of Giovanni Agnelli and his lifelong love for contemporary art. It aims at promoting and funding original research works by young scholars on subjects concerning the economics, organization and markets of contemporary art. The scholarship is open to EU citizens: a German and an Estonian scholar are among the winners of the two previous editions.

Applications for the 2007 edition will be considered for original research projects in the following topical subject:

Collecting contemporarily. How contemporary art collections are formed.

Corporate mission, passion and investment as art purchasing motives for museums, cultural institutions, cities, enterprises, and private collectors.
