Originally from Hartford, CT, Edward Longo studied architectural drafting and drawing. Adding oil and acrylic painting to his list of talents, throughout the past twenty years he has exhibited his work in prominent Manhattan galleries, hotels, and public spaces. Longo currently lives and works in New York City. Longo's paintings are combinations of spontaneous inspiration, emotional freedom and daring color explorations. Longo describes the creative process as "the art of transferring one's feelings from the palette onto the canvas."
One of Longo's paintings named Au Natural (#108) was submitted to the Christiania "New Nude" Art Competition, which had been viewed displayed at the Christinaked website www.christinaked.com.
ART STUDIO GALLERY viewings are held by appointment, days or evenings. Payment plans considered. Private buyers, Art Collectors and Gallery and Museum Curators are welcome.
