Indepth Arts News: "Variety of Digital Art 2008 Features Karin Kuhlman" 2008-05-01 until 2008-10-31 Kunstlege Hohenegg, Galerie fuer Digitale Kunst Gruenenbach, , DE Germany
Digital Art has gained more and more importance in the artworld during the past years and it is a stated objective of the Kunstlege Hohenegg to promote Digital Art and artists who are working in this field. To give the visitor an overview of the Digital Art as still images, the subject of the exhibition "Variety of Digital Art 2008" units the different kind of styles and working processes of computerart like arithmetical and mathematical generated art, fractals as art, stage 3D presentations, photo manipulations, digital paintings and vector based drawings.
The six works of Karin Kuhlmann included into this exhibition are out of her abstract series "Poetic Lyrically Contemplations". Like the surrealists and some abstractionists Karin prefers to utilize "Automatism" for her creative processes in order to release her inner pictures.

24 invited German Digital Artists, among them Computer Art Pioneer Professor Herbert W. Franke and also international established Digital Artists Siegfried Schreck and Karin Kuhlmann, Premiere Portfolio Artist at absolutearts.com since 2001, have been invited to show a selection of their works: Altogether 150 exceptional large formatted Fine Art Prints, shown from May 1 through October 31, 2008 at Kunstlege Hohenegg, a lovely farmhouse embedded into the picturesque mountain landscape of the Westallgaeu (Germany).
