"Call for Artists: a politic"

a politic will be an exhibition of art works in all mediums. The theme encourages the artist to interpret notions of politics, being political, freedom of expression and exploring ‘a politic’ with their own personal imagination and craft. Open to all American artists living in the USA and abroad. Deadline May 24, 2008.

The exhibition will run from July 2 through August 16, 2008 at Gallery XIV, 37 Thayer Street, Boston, MA. The gallery is over 2200 sq. ft. and centrally located in the heart of the SOWA Arts district, in Boston’s South End. The preview event on Wednesday, July 2nd coincides with the signing of America’s Declaration of Independence and will feature performances, food, cocktails and an artist salon. The opening, Friday, July 4th will be a gala event, including voting booths for the public to choose the winning top 5 artists. All artists submitting will be included in the online gallery.
