The chosen top 10 artists currently have their selected works featured at www.becagallery.com and will be featured in the upcoming 2008 edition of the publication titled, 'CURATE THIS!' available at BECA gallery beginning August 2, 2008.
From the top 10 artists chosen, the TOP 4 artists who received the highest number of votes will have their works exhibited at 'FOUR' opening August 2, 2008 at BECA gallery located at 527 Saint Joseph Street, New Orleans, LA, USA in the heart of the New Orleans Arts District. The opening of 'FOUR', coincides with White Linen Night, the largest annual visual arts event in New Orleans. These TOP 4 artists of 'CURATE THIS!' 2008 have presented us with a diverse collection of captivating paintings, mixed-media, fiber, ceramic and photographic works.

A group exhibition featuring the works of the top four emerging artists selected via the votes cast by more than 400 guest curators from 11 countries during "CURATE THIS!" 2008. For this exhibition, BECA gallery in New Orleans, LA enlisted the input of art enthusiasts from around the world via 'CURATE THIS!', an online juried event which allowed anyone from anywhere in the world with an internet connection and email access to select 10 artists from the compiled selection of submitted works. From June 18-21, 2008 over 400 art enthusiasts from around the world viewed the works submitted by artists from all corners of the globe and voted to choose the top 10 artists of 'CURATE THIS!' 2008 working in 2D and 3D mediums including, but not limited to, painting, sculpture, mixed-media, drawing, printmaking, fiber, textiles and photography.
