Synaesthesia is the title of the international contemporary art exhibition which will be presented by Camaver Kunsthaus International starting August 26 and continuing through September 2, 2008, in tow parts. Some of the newest creation of the best known contemporary artists will be showed. The exhibition title refers to a typical figure of speech, a sort of metaphor used in poetry and literature, that put together two different sensory spheres. For psychology it also means a mingling of the five senses during the reality perceiving. In the first part of the series is Alkistis Wechsler who has been a Premiere Portfolio Artist at absolutearts.com since 2007.

This is the starting point to present the art works of artists who, thanks to their special sensitivity, are often able to communicate sensations much beyond the simple visual experience. The color, the shape and the artistic touch are only tools to create a wonderful scenario where onlookers can plunge themselves into experiencing something much beyond the five senses. That is the sensations universe, the world of suggestions, where colors become music and smell, where photography is a tactile trial which reports body sensations, where art is enjoyed by the mind and feeds our spirit and it enriches and improves our core.

Both landscape and individual plants offer their shapes and colour combination as vital parts of my recent painting compositions.
