"Anita Lewis: Elements"
2009-03-06 until 2009-04-17
Translations Gallery
Denver, CO, USA United States of America

"Anita Lewis: Elements" will be showing at Translations Gallery, in Denver, from March 6 through April 17, 2009. Anita Lewis' paintings reveal abstract representations of nature such as water reflections or elements like iron and mercury. She explores the hidden treasures of the earth, whether decorative or practical, poisonous or healthy, destructive or useful. Her style offers the necessary balance to the chaos, a haven of serenity and thought, simplistic modernism for simplistic modern environments, or contrasting eclectic classicism. Translations Gallery promotes their artists with a Gallery Portfolio at absolutearts.com.

In 1979, Anita Lewis moved to Southern Germany. While living in Europe for almost 20 years, she learned about European Modernism in art and architecture which is reflected in her interior design work. Her goal as an artist is to create a symbiotic relationship between modern architecture and her art.
