Indepth Arts News: "Gender Equality - ART RAIN" 2009-04-04 until 2009-04-16 Galleri Riddaren Stockholm, , SE Sweden
Galleri Riddaren in Stockholm exhibits a group show from April 4 through April 17, 2009 entitled "Gender Equality - ART RAIN". ART RAIN or Registered Artists' International Network Association, promotes human rights through art and cultural fusion. This exhibition will be represened by Finnish, Armenian-Finnish, Hungarian, Irish, Czech-Finnish, Chinese-Finnish, Moroccan and Belgian artists. Their paintings promote a sense of justice, harmony and respect for each other and society as a whole. EQUALITY for Everyone. Matthew Thompson, who has been a Premiere Portfolio member at absolutearts.com since 2008, will be included in this exhibition.
Thompson states, "I am well known in many countries for my aesthetic, innovative art and organizational skills in exhibition management. Through my love for art and artists - who share in my dispositions of truth, innovation, civility and warmth - our progressive Association ART RAIN has become a world-wide phenomenen. We are a family of nations, of Artists. The United Nations of ART. Art RAIN abhors discriminination in any form whatsoever. We expose those that deny equal rights to others as they are in direct defiance of the principles laid down in The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. My forthcoming book truthfully exposes years of Discrimination which I have personally endured, in the promotion of Openness, Transparency, Honesty and Equality for All. I believe that Culture should be described as Coloured Honesty... honesty being the Universal Language of Humanity. "
