This year, in its third edition, the exhibition created by the Art.ur association in collaboration with the Cuneo council, will enrich the city with 6x3 metre thought provoking billboards. The subject for this year is ‘r-evolution’, this visually represents the themes of this years international literature exhibition Scrittorincittà (Writers in the city), to reflect on the significant socio-economical changes that are taking place during this delicate period. In a time of crisis, ideas of political, economical and social evolution are in the air, with the hope of improving the current situation. This theme also reminds us of the bicentenary of the birth of Charles Darwin. This edition was supported by the IED, the European Institute for Design of Turin. This prestigious international school of design, fashion, visual and communicative arts is highly interested in this Cuneo born campaign for the fact that it promotes an artistic message for social reflection rather than a commercial product through billboards and is the only one of its kind in Italy. This year the event ManifestaZOOne was invited to be part of the prestigious Artissima Piedmont Turin Contemporary Arts initiative that promotes the most significant contemporary arts events in Piedmont. The panel of experts selected from hundreds of works from creative and graphic artists. The works will be visible from the 9-22 November as 6x3 metre billboards along the main roads of Cuneo. The winning art works will also be displayed in the Provincial halls at 41 Corso Nizza and 12 Corso Dante, during the international literature exhibition from the 12-15 November.
