Bradley University Theatre Presents "Pinocchio"

 
Peoria, IL (November 2, 2009) - Bradley University Theatre will continue the tradition of creative performances by presenting "Pinocchio" this month in the Meyer Jacobs Theatre in the Hartmann Center for the Performing Arts.

Bradley University Theatre and the House Theatre in Chicago joined together to create a dynamic new adaptation of the tale of Pinocchio.  Told with a physical and visual flair that is trademark of the award-winning House Theatre, this contemporary look at the Pinocchio story ventures into the visceral world of life's persisting questions:  What does it mean to be human?  Who can we trust in this life?  How far will we go for love?  How do we recover from deep hurt?

Performance times are 8 p.m. on Nov. 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14, and 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 15. 

Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for faculty/staff and seniors and $7 for students.  Tickets are available by calling the Cultural Events Box Office at 677-2650.
