On Sunday, November 22, Sandy Bulgrin will teach a Civil War Museum Workshop: Basket Ornaments from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Miniature baskets may be used as decorations on a Christmas tree or wreath. Students receive enough materials to weave four different ornaments. Each one is woven with dyed and natural reed.
Cost of the class is $22 or $17 for Friends of the Museums. A materials fee of $10 is paid to the instructor. Samples of the baskets are on display at the museum gift shop. Advance registration is needed by Nov. 14.
