Thanks to Hernandez's great effort and passion, many local artists and photographers were given the opportunity to travel to Cuba to discover and create. Now, in celebration of Hernandez's legacy as an artist, activist, and dear friend, International Visions joins with members of The Exposure Group of Washington, DC to share images captured in this wondrous country.
Alongside Hernandez's photographs, the work of Bonita Bing, Donald Bernard, David Hamilton, Victor Holt, Gloria Kirk, Jason Miccolo Johnson, Barbara Manor, and George Tolbert (all of The Exposure Group) will be displayed.
International Visions is thrilled to honor Nestor Hernandez, Jr. through this glimpse into a country that remains to many of us an unknown world.
