Hoypoloi Gallery Celebrates 14 years in Chicago!
Nov. 2009-Hoypoloi Gallery "An Uncommon Gallery for the
Common Man" will be having it's 14th year Anniversary Celebration on Dec, 11th 2009 at it's Historic Chinatown location on Wentworth Ave. For this much anticipated event Hoypoloi's Special guest artist will be Pamela Sukham. Formerly a researcher in Cardiovascular health and Electrophysiology, Pamela left the biomedical field in 2003 to pursue her true passion: Painting. With barely enough money in hand for the first month's rent, she moved into her downtown Minneapolis studio space to begin her new journey. Five years later, Pamela's paintings are featured in the most prominent fine art galleries in North America, oth reigniting the fire of seasoned art connoisseurs and sparking a new generation of fine art collectors. In 2007, she was awarded the Director's Choice Award at the ArtExpo New York. Founded in 1995 by Ron Hoy, Hoypoloi's birthplace was Chicago's historic Chinatown. Hoypoloi represents a range of established artists and undiscovered talent and offers original, limited edition wall and art sculptures as well as fountains, jewelry and many other gift items.
There will be a surprise musical guest as well which will be revealed on the day of the event. An awakening of the senses!" Hoypoloi is a place of
Zen that gives its guests the opportunity to bring the same experience into
their homes and lifestyles.
