Williams Women at the Helm of American Art
Friday, December 11
6:00–8:00 pm

The Williams Club will host a round-table discussion with a dynamic group of alumnae on the state of American art. The discussion is moderated by Barbara Ernst Prey '79, artist and appointee to the National Council on the Arts, and will include Darsie Alexander '91, Chief Curator of the Walker Art Center; Laura Hoptman '83, Director of the New Museum of Contemporary Art; Shamim M. Momin '95, former Branch Director and Curator of the Whitney Museum at Altria and founder of the Los Angeles Nomadic Division; and Nancy Spector '84, Chief Curator of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. This discussion introduces the significance of the next generation of women to break into “The Williams Art Mafia.”

Click here for more information about this event and reserving a seat. The Williams Club is located on 24 East 39th Street in New York, New York.
